Landy DeField
Member of the Advisory Board
Landy Defield, an internet marketing consultant, is long-time freedomware advocate who got involved in more successful web projects than we can list here. Let’s still mention the REVELinux gear and TheTuxProject.com, which spun off the work from the Tux500 marketing initiative, the getnix.com website, and involvement in the Freedomware-Gamefest and Kde-artists.org. A happily married father of 5 kids, he has been advocating the use of the term “freedomware” to designate free software for a long time, an idea which is making its way into GNU/Linux Matters.
