I am back from Extremadura, Spain, where I attended for four days to the 10th HispaLinux International Congress. It was a wonderful event, well-organized by Iniciativa Focus, HispaLinux and the Government of Extremadura, who made an excellent job, by the way.
I met many people from several countries, who work in Free Software-related organizations as well. I also gave a conference titled “La importancia de los usuarios no informáticos en el triunfo del software libre” (The Importance of Non-Technical Users for Free Software to Win), whose slides are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 Spain License.
The conference was recorded by Iniciativa Focus, and should be online soon; I will update this post when I know it’s been released.
I thank the organizers for supporting us, helping us to make our projects known within the Free Software community (and beyond) and, especially, for the excellent treatment I received for the last four days.
PS: There’s also a PDF edition of the slides.
PPS: As of Jan 21st, 2008, the video of the conference has not been published, yet.

Would it be possible for the slides of your talk to be posted in .pdf format? Here in Texas, we have many spanish speakers who might be interested in your talk, but many are still using a legacy office suite.
Thanks,

Good idea, Loye. I’ve uploaded the PDF edition and updated this blog post.
Thank you!
