We have just launched a fund drive to cover our expenses for one year - until September 2008. “Keep Us Going” is the motto - for we have been going on for one year by ourselves and we now need external help.
We’re extremely grateful for the participation of the Libervis Network, hosting our forum and community, and the participation of so many of you in the construction and improvement of our sites. But today we need even more - and instead of continual requests for donation, we chose to run a one-month campaign, which should keep us going for one year.
We’re experimenting with link buttons over gnulinuxmatters.org and there should be more spread across our other sites shortly, so we can get as much attention as we can.
We call for your generosity and understanding as we get ready for an exciting year ;-)

I wish you best of luck with this fund drive. I’ve put this as featured news on Libervis.com: http://www.libervis.com/article/gnu_linux_matters_non_profit_launches_a_one_month_fund_drive
My small donation should be on its way. :)
Cheers
The page one goes to when you click on the Paypal donate button on the site takes people through to a French language Paypal site. Although I can change the language to English by removing fr/ from the url, it’s still slightly annoying for people who sadly don’t know French and wish to give a donation.
Thanks both of you!
Iestyn, I have corrected the page now, the Paypal page defaults to US.English.
Olivier.
I’ve submitted this to LXer.com and LinuxToday.com. Also I’ve put it to digg: http://digg.com/linux_unix/GNU_Linux_Matters_non_profit_launches_a_fund_drive
That’s wonderful. Thank so much for your help Danijel. It not only brings donations but also helps get the word out about what we do. Brillant.
